An intrapreneur can spot a new and different opportunity, direction, or way of working to help the firm grow, even if it was already very strong in that area. Encouraging intrapreneurship can result in innovative change, results, improve productivity, as well as increase profitability.

Nearly 8% of adults in Argentina actively pursue social entrepreneurship, compared to 4%–5% in the UK and the US, according to IMF statistics published in 2012 that revealed how far the practice had expanded around the world. The subject of social entrepreneurship has expanded significantly and is gaining more attention from a variety of sectors.

Social intrapreneurs find resources where others see only issues, they see the villagers as the answer, not just a passive recipient. They approach the situation with the presumption of competence and mobilize resources in the places they are trying to serve.

Increasing the scope and scale of social intrapreneurship may increase the likelihood of an efficient, sustainable, and effective initiative.
